I really wanted a 300 norma but I'm un sure that my action can be modified to the corect rim size. I was trying to figure out what wildcat I could do to give just a little more velocity than the 300 win mag I had intended on building. That why I was asking about just necking down the 338 Rum it would let me to run it in a Ai cip mag. The 30x26 nosler would work as well. I could try to sell my action and just buy the correct sized action to run the 300 norma. I was just trying to avoid that but I may end up doing that. I can't seem to find the 338 rum brass and the 26 nosler brass is **** expensive and the 300 Norma brass is available several places and dies are as well.
