Which caliber will kick more .280 or the .26 nosler. With a 125g or 130g bullet. And keeping powder and grains as close to the same as possible. Thanks.

The .26 Nosler will have more recoil than the regular .280 Remington. The .26 Nosler holds ALOT more powder than the .280 Remington...They're in 2 totally different ballparks. One is based on the .30-06 case, and the .26 Nosler is a based on a shortened 7mm RUM case. If you were to load a .26 Nosler down to .280 Rem powder capacities, you would be seriously handicapping performance, and would be eleminating the whole reason the round was developed in the first place.

Thanks mud that's what I needed to know. Is the 26n along the lines of a 12 gallon slug gun, because my shoulder has bad arthritis and can't take the slug gun kick.
