Well here it is. Hope to get a little trigger time and see what it runs out like.

Gunner75 that looks like a beautiful rifle. I am also interested in how it shoots and what kind of life you get out of the barrel. Did you have the barrel treated? How long is it?
Have fun with that!

Initial 20 rounds of the factory 129's are history. I was wanting to get a feel for 100 to 500yrds and this is what I came up with.

20 rounds, Avg 3317 with ES of 60 and SD15. 100yrd Zero, 3.25 at 300, 4.75 at 400, 7.5 at 500yrds.

Shot my 6CM (just finished last fall) right next to this rifle. The recoil got me a little even though I have been running some heavy hitters. On the 500yrd target I changed my hold on the rifle on #4 and #5 and am certain that is what pulled them left.

Got the 20 cases worked and will run some 142SMK and or 140 Berger Hybrids on the next run for giggles.

My brass should be here shortly so I will drop back and retest.

Something I should mention. The last few Bartlein barrels I have ran seemed to settle in at 60 to 80 rounds give or take. Not blaming the barrel, just stating what I have witnessed on the previous.

You necked down 7 RUM brass??? That must have been a lot work with a lot of steps.

Couple observations. If you're necking/working down 7 RUM brass, hopefully you're annealing after final forming. If not that can lead to fliers for sure. And if you shot those groups with a magneto attached, that can open your groups way up. I went from 2" to .2" after removing the magneto off my 300 RUM.

****! I'll have to remember that, I haven't had any issues with the MagnetoSpeed effecting accuracy in any way except zero. Good info to have on hand if I start chasing accuracy demons.

I shot someone's magneto on my 223 last summer and was shooting at steel at about 400 yds. Best as I could tell there was no significant affect on accuracy then. When I got my magneto, the strap setup was a little differnt. Mine had a cinch buckle with a tension screw vs a velcro strap on the one I used last summer.

My current magneto does affect groups in all my rifles. So from now on I do my pressure ladder testing with magneto and load development without. Once my load is fixed, then I magneto it to get a good velocity.

I failed to mention the Magnetospeed was in place for all 20 shots.

I didn't work that brass, Nosler did, and yes it was annealed.

I have never had really great groups with the MSpeed on any barrel. The zero POI shift is always noticeable.
