Is it worth it to put a brake on the .243 to better see bullet trail and follow up shots. Noise and Recoil aren't an issue. The rifle is primarily for varmints in the longer range "ish". Or with enough practice can you manage the recoil and watch the shot with practice?
My fear is if this thing is so loud off the bench while P-dog shooting my buddies will hate me.
The Gun is a Rem 700 Heavy varmint, Bedded and floated in a B/C stock.

BTW I hand load and plan for the second rifle to be a light caliber either .204 ruger or a .17 to keep barrel temps and life in check.
