6.5x55 vs .308

i read a lot of things about 6.5x55 and 308 barrel life, there's a lot of theories....
so what you think which one will last longer ?

Aside from the case design and bullet diameter, all else being equal or at least proportionally equal, the 308 should hands down have a longer life.
