So they really are apples to apples cartridges then. I thought the factory 6.5 CM with 143 ELDX seemed a little slow at 2700.

There's a good node with the CM around 2700. Pretty sure that's why Normandy pods them for that speed. Brass life is very good there too. It was designed more for an accurate target cartridge.
