I just loaded the 10 rounds. I killed it in just under a year w/ a 270 win. I feel like it's some sort of accomplishment.

Congratulations, that is a lot of shooting!!!
How did the H4831SC worked in your 270 Win for long range shooting?

Dang man! you need a few more guns , 1000rounds/year is a LOT to put through a 270. Makes my shoulder hurt just thinking about it:D

I tried all the usual suspects for a 270 and this stuff just seemed to work the best in my gun. I bought the jug last August and it went just over 1000 rounds. I'm about 3/4 # into my next 10# lot getting everything dialed back in.:D

MachV- I do bust quite a few caps. It's a sickness for which there's no cure. At least that's what they tell me.

jmason,

Yur a man of my own heart:D

Back in the day when Jack Rabbits were plentiful a buddy of mine and I would run as many a 1500 round a month.

As it turns out 1500 rounds is the limit on a 22-250 Rem 788. Ol' Ken went through 3 788s in one year.

My 270 Win w/the douglas barrel lasted for 30 years.

Those were some good days.:D

I've just snagged my second 8 pounder of US 869 for my AM. That makes just a little over 700 rounds and she's still shootin fine.

Way to keep the economy going.

And more powder to ya.:)
