Cost of a new scope?

Good luck finding a nice silver finish scope anymore. I found a "Barska". Hope I can do better than that.

I tried to sell 2 LNIB vx3i silver 50mm leupolds with alumina covers on here for months. All I got was the usual lowball bs of "I'll give you $50 bucks for your $400 scope" or the usual back and forth for 2 weeks and 100 text messages and every conceivable pic, after which the potential buyer disappears with no explanation. I ended up selling them in less than a week on craigslist. So check there or gunbroker.

I heard one should spend 1 1/2-2X as much on a scope as for the rifle. I'm scraping together enough to get a Weatherby titanium 6.5 RPM for over $3,000. I have never heard of a $6,000 scope. What do I do now?
Have you looked at the Bushnell Elite 1600 Its around a $1000 i have one and I love it

Not that I can justify or afford it but you might look at the Gunwerks new scope. Revic. Has more bells and whistles than my old brain could contemplate but if it is half the scope that they say it is, WOW!!!!!

Scope is the most important part of your kit, otherwise you are taking chances of missing your target.
6K seems high... remember you buy one nice scope you can use it on other rifles.
Nightforce, Swarovski, and Zero Compromise are the scopes I would only buy

i shoot a howa 1500 precision chassis .308. I have a vortex viper 6-24 first focal plane. I love the glass and it's a all around great scope. I highly recommend vortex due to the customer service, the quality and its no questions asked life time warranty.
