Okay - reading and taking this further – is the point is that we all reach the point of where we suck at shooting any better than right now? Yes. So what do we do? Without saying more is the point to leave us thrashing in our shooting suckyness, crying about what to do next? Again, IMHO, those of us on this forum KNOW what comes next. Stop. Look at each aspect of what you are doing now, and identify what you can change, modify or improve to do better. Have I actually peaked with this specific combination of equipment? Am I using the most precise measuring and calibrating equipment I can? Same for reloading equipment, powder, bullet, case, etc. How about my stance, position when prone, what I use for support in those expositions and on, and on, and on, ad nauseum. OR, do I maybe need coach, outside observer to just tape myself when I shoot? Finally, do I just need to redefine my goals to recognize when I have reached "good enough" At the very least it got us to talk/think about the subject. On that note, I will (thankfully some of you will agree) go sit quietly in the corner - for a while!
