The best road to go into the unit is 37 at Verse on your map (N 43 25' 18" on your GPS) and take that east and it goes northeast up past Antelope Mine and the reservoir and swings on east just south of Rochelle Hills. If you take any of the access roads that are open going south, the Red Hills area is several miles south and covers a big area. Camping is now restricted throughout the Grasslands and you have to stay real close to the roads or they will ticket you. The other way to get into the Red Hills area is further south on 59 a few miles to what shows as Robertson Flat on your map (N 43 23' 52") and take 34 east and there are all kinds of roads that go all over to the east and south off of it. It's not your typical antelope country, but they are there and that whole area is probably also your best bet for deer because it is rougher country and not as many people hunt it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
