I got both of these in recently on rifles. Gloss black. Detents on the magnification dial so you can feel when you are at the posted magnification. Made in America back when people tried hard and didn't use Chinese parts. They are both really nice. No issues with the lenses that I can see.
One had slight ring marks in the liquid surface looking gloss finish but I can't get them to photograph.
