I was at the dentist office sitting reading national geographic when i saw a whole page ad for 20-140X binoculars. I just had to look to see the BS. I dont know what the objective was but thet showed a pic of a river valler with a branch sticking out with mountains about a mile behind it. Then there is a blow up bubble of a hawk(look how big he is). They tried to fake you out to give you the illusion that the magnification is of the hawk on the mountain way behind the branch. There is no light behind the hawk at all but in the blow up there is nothing but sky behind the hawk. Not to mention i want to meet the guy that can hold 140X binocs still, because i cant hold 10Xs still. Lastly the immage would be so dark that you might as well be blind. I just though you guys would get a kick out of it.
