I know this is a shotgun, but hoping for some good leads on a gunsmith who could take this gun back to new. 16 years ago my best friend was home from the army for 2 weeks and bought our dream gun, a new beretta 391 20ga. We used it for 10 days of duck hunting and then he put it away and returned to Afghanistan. 1 month later he was killed.. The shotgun has been moved around with his family (non hunters) and after 16 years of wanting it, I finally own the gun.. the sentimental value is beyond priceless, and this gun will never leave my family… Sadly it was not given the best life over the last 16 years.. the finish rusted on the barrel and the poly coat on the stock (real wood) has some major chips/failure. Who could I send the barrel off to to have the finish matched back to factory? Also looking for someone that could take the stocks back to factory. Matt loved this gun and would of kept it up and running and I really want to return it to that condition without looking “re-done”. I’ve attached some photos to understand the condition.
