I just got back from 3rd season in CO. I lived in my Schnees Hunter II's for the entire week. I took my Lowa's but never wore them as they are more of a mild weather boot in my opinion. The Hunter II's were awesome and worked well in the snow that ranged from a couple of inches to a foot depending on where I was. I paired them with a set of Outdoor Research gaiters and put lots of miles on them with no complaints. No issues with cold feet while glassing either.
