Hey guys, been a while. Been shooting my "newer" 300 norma and getting pretty good results out to about 1800yds or so. Inside 1000yds with 215-230gr berger DINGS are almost a given every time. Not that I am bored with the Norma but I have been thinking about building a 375 next. It will be down the road a ways and maybe I will simply rebarrel my norma with a 375 barrel, who knows. So here is my question. I know there are some great bullet selections out there right now from CE, Hammer bullets, sierra, and maybe one day berger. I was wondering if there was a 375 cartridge out there that could push a 350gr bullet to 2950-3000fps and-or a 375gr bullet to maybe 2800fps. Here's the kicker...I DON'T want to have to go to a cheytac sized action. I was thinking maybe Kirby's Allen Xpress or a 378 weatherby improved could POSSIBLY get me there but I've never seen any velocity/load data for the heavier 350+ (except the smk) for these cases. I know lapua makes great brass and would hold up better than the Weatherby and RUM cases but I'm just not sure the Lapua case would yield as much velocity as the Weatherby or RUM improved. Any ideas? Thanks fellas. Cody
