The reason I ask is because size is a factor in how well the tires wear. My last 3 sets of tires were Cepek Fun Country II's in 285/75r16, they wore great and did a very good job. I never wear any of my tires out, because I sell them off the truck. Right now I am trying a set of Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's on my truck. So far so good. They are a very heavy tire and pretty aggressive. They are pretty quiet. Duratracs are a good traction tire, (I bought a set to put on my work truck this fall) but they have soft sidewalls. I have had very good luck with Hankook Dynapro RF10 A/T's, General Grabber A/T2 and some others. BFG A/T is the worst tire I have ever ran on my truck in a 265/75r16! They were bald at 20k! They seem to do better in 285/75r16. I still like the Cepek Fun Country, but it is a new tread design than the ones I ran for the last 3 years and the rubber compound is supposed to be changed. Too early to tell. I have a good friend running the new design on his 2012 Dodge Cummins in Montana and so far he likes them on everything except ice. I have some friends running Kelly Safari TSR's with good results, but they have a thin casing like the Duratrac. The Toyo A/T II seems to be a nice quiet tire with a 50k warrany, but they aren't the greatest in mud. The Toyo M/T is a nice tire, but over priced. Most of the people I know that go with a tire that is quiet usually wish they had gone for a little more aggressive tire so they don't get stuck on a grassy knoll.
What size are you wanting to run?
