If you're staying down town in Nashville you should be right in the middle of it. Wander over to 2nd Ave. or Broadway for the local country night spots such as Tootsies, Rippies, Wildhorse or B B Kings. Lot of places in walking distance. You might want to go to the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium. Maybe take a walk through the gardens at the Opryland Hotel. There's loads of stuff to do in Nashville. You could spend a week there and not see it all. For Memphis it's music and food. You'll want to go Beale Street for Blues music. If you're an Elvis fan you might want to make a trip to Graceland. Either Corkies or the Rendezvous for Ribs. You can cross the river into West Memphis Arkansas for greyhound racing or go south of Memphis to Tunica, MS for Casino gambling. Just stay on the beaten path in Memphis. It does have it's seedier side like all big cities. Have fun in Tennessee. Just be careful, you'll want to move here.
