There is a reason I own 3 LRFs right now. I tried to save money and was not satisfied. Stepped up to the leica thinking it would do alright, more money wasted. NOw I have 2 that could have been the terrapin all along. I could have 2 for the price I paid altogether. I see people come by the range all the time that want a good RF and I tell em to get the Terrapin, they come back with their other ones and are not happy with their purchase. I have about 3-4 friends that did get the vectronix and not one of them have the first bit of remorse. It was hard for the guys to swing as it was for me. I use it all the time with never less than great results. I just hate to see people spend their hard earned money on something that doesn't do what they want it to do. If your archery hunting the terrapin isn't the greatest choice but if your rifle hunting is not necessary but if your LR hunting it is getting closer to being a necessity. Knowing your exact range is always a must have. Knowing that you can have that knowledge at any time is a blessing that is nice to be able to take advantage of it. Whatever you get, I hope your happy and well served with you purchase.
