I have a question and in no way want to get into a flame out.. How does velocity not tell you when you have exceeded a safe threshold of pressure when it is pressure that propels the bullet down the barrel.. the more pressure the higher the velocity.. Yes I understand powder lots vary. So if lot "A" gives 3000 FPS with a 60gr charge, and lot "B" give 3150 with the same charge then I am going to assume that lot "B" needs to be brought down until my velocity drops back to around 3000.. Same pressure, different burn. Then again when I change powder lots I would back down 5% and worked back to my known safe velocity.. I am trying to have a respectful debate and understand opinions differ.. Another great thing about this country I love.. Take care Ed
