Pretty good scopes for the money guys. I bought one just to play with when they first came out and it now lives on my main hunting gun. Killed 5 big game critters through it from 300 to 835 yards. Can't be beat for the money.

Ok. Fairly new to the forum, I don't know what is meant by the post with "The sealed box scope is spf". Wanting to build two identical ARs for the missis and I, Not familiar with Vortex. We liked the Athon 4.5-29x56 but the cost is out of our reach. Do you have an idea as to how they compare?

SPF means sold pending funds.

Im not super familiar with the athlons and I think it would make sense to make sure you are making an apples to apples comparison, but that being said I'd say that generally Vortex is a better brand. Maybe somebody else her can chime in.

The Strike eagle is solid for its price. It gives a lot of features of the Razor Gen 2. Better more robust turrets than the pst Gen 2, even if they didn't lock, the locking feature makes them even more robust.
It's what the pst 2 should've been.
