SOLD/EXPIRED USED - Lilja .284 1-9 28" FL

My Dad's R700 recently got a makeover and this is the takeoff barrel.

It started life as a Lilja .284 1-9 3-groove 28" FL 6 straight flutes. New was around $600+

It was chambered by Greg Tannel for 7 Rem Mag on a Remington 700 Sendero action. It was also fitted for a muzzle brake. So it's threaded 5/8-28 on the muzzle. It's cerakoted black and engraved with Greg's info. Cerakoting and all threads are in perfect condition.

I did all the reloading for this barrel. It was only shot with Berger 140, 168, & 180 VLD and H1000. Never pushed hard. About 3100 w/ 140. About 2850 w/ 180. By my books it had 1200-1300 rds down it.

I think if a guy wanted to make a 28 Nosler or 7 STW out of this barrel it would work well. Or you could chop the tenon off and do another 7RM.

I have no idea what it's worth, if anything. Starting at $150 shipped. Offers welcome.

I knew I'd forget something....

#5 contour.

This barrel was a great shooter. From day 1 it would consistently produce .3 moa groups out to 1000. At the end it opened up to about .75-1 moa. Personally I think that was more indicative of the throat than the rifling.
