[QUOTE="dirtytough, post: 1737610, member: 6597"] I had one built. I went back and forth between the 300 wm, 300 prc, and 30 nos. I was turned off of the 300 wm after a wm supporter compared the 30 nos and the 300 wm and declared them equals. After debating about it for awhile I was really leaning 30 nos. But I got realistic with myself. What am I gaining with the 30 nos? 50 FPS? Better brass? At the time ADG didn’t make 30 nos brass either but there were rumors. But to build it right you need a custom reamer etc. And the final nail was my time is limited. I work 80-100 hours a week most of the time. I was hoping that the 300 prc factory ammo would shoot as well as the factory creedmoor and 6.5 prc ammo I’ve seen shoot. As good as Hornady is at marketing I was pretty sure one of the better brass makers would pick it up also. So now I’m down the 50 FPS that the 30 nos produces over the 300 prc. My luck I would get the slowest barrel in history and I would only be able to hit 30-06 speeds haha. At the end of the day the two main reasons were limited time, and my brother kept telling me how gay the prc was. I would be just as happy with a 30 nos I’m sure. Ps. My first kill with the prc.
