To the both of you, I'm not pro Obamacare or any plan thats government mandated, however, the single payer system works in Canada quite well and it could work here if the Beltway Bozo's had half a brain. My second comment is as long as Doctors keep driving Beemers and have summer homes in the Bahamas, healthcare won't be affordable to the masses. You ain't gonna get squat for 400 bucks a paycheck until medical costs get reigned in, plain and simple. My big issue with the Affordable Health care Act is it puts an extreme burden on employers and in the end will cause increasing unemployment and stagnant job creation. The people I work for are contemplating dropping all health coverage for their 1400 employees and subsidizing part of the premium the employees will have to pay using the state run gummit mandated insurance cafeteria -plans. I never participated in their healthcare over the 28 years I've workrd there because I have better, It costs but it's better. I feel fortunate to have good hospitalization, Government Employees BCBS but it's not free. Far from it. We pay almost $1,000.00 per month, probably a helluva lot more than most of you pay. Would be refreshing if people figured out that professional politicians do what they **** well please with total disregard for their constitutients. Been like that for years and we just kjeep voting the idiots back in. Go figure.... I know, Obama won a second Term but no one voted for him....... BS. BTW, in closing my comment, John Mcain voted for the Affordable Healthcare funding this afternoon. Good old American Hero...asshat.
