Went out this evening to test the drop of the 90gr absolutes hammers compared to the 75 HH’s. I wanted things to be somewhat equal with both loads. I saw an ej mark at 60gr of H4350 with both bullets so I dropped 2 grs down to 58. Yesterday was the first time trying the 75s and they shot ok right at the start with 58 at 3930 fps. My standard load with the 90gr AH’s has been 59gr of h4350 but today I dropped it down to 58 and shot 2 shot groups starting with 58 then 58.2 then 57.8 which was less than 1/2 moa so I went with that jammed .-001” in the lands just like the 75s. 57.8gr with the 90s gave me 3753 fps. I then shot a few more times until I was satisfied with my 100 yard zero for the 90s. Set up my target at 300 yards and fired 2 shots. To my surprise the 90s dropped significantly less than the 75s despite going 177 fps slower. While it was only 2 shots they measured .28” coming out to .08MOA. So the 75HH’s had 4.2” of drop at 300 yards and the 90gr AH’s have only 2.5” of drop! I have also shot these 90s out to 800 yards in the past and the have done well and had less drop than the 131aces. Pic is with the 75HH,90AH, and 131 ACE
