Got my first savage 110 many years ago, so long ago it had the long action with the block to make it a short action which they hadn't made yet. Gun cost $149 with a low cost bushnell scope and cheap sling. Still got it but only the action is original, its a 308 tactical now and my boy uses it to hunt with. Been five more since then and they all have spoiled me with their accuracy, my avatar shows what a 12BVSS will do :) just getting in to bolt mods as my final step in assembling the most accurate budget rifle's you can build. Sav 2 trigger is unbeatable if you don't like accutrigger ( I like it for target but not hunting). Barrel swaps and headspacing right at the reloading bench at home. Only one left I have a hankering for is the carbon lightweight in WSM, a nice brake and different stock is all I would need. Looking forward to a couple days next week at the range doing load work, that's what I call social distancing :)
