Smartwool vs. underarmour socks?

I tried a pair of the Kuiu socks this year and they were great! In 5 days I put on roughly 20 miles with a 30 pound pack wearing those socks and a pair of Kenetrk mountain extremes and had no sore feet at all

My cold weather sock set up for the Colorado mountains is theSmartwool socks over the thin poly pro liners. If your feet get cold from sitting, then insert the thin footwarmer pads.

What particular "models" of those socks do you use?

I have used the Smartwool brand for years, and particularly liked the Ph.D. model.

Between those two Smartwool....but I much prefer Darn Tough.

When it comes to socks, the best are made in USA and we still have a lot of choices. There is no reason to buy foreign made socks. I spent 10 hours on my feet yesterday in 105° on a construction site, I had Darn Tough socks on and my feet were comfortable all day.

Kuiu are made someplace other than USA, so no go for me...
