I have a scope mounted on a 20moa tappered solid base and recently sighted in the rifle for a 100 yd zero and it used up 29 moa of scope elevation. The scope has a total of 100moa adjustments. This may not be too important but if I wanted to "get back" some of this moa and have more for long range work, then roughly what thickness shim(s) do I put under the rear of the scope base. I assume there is a "rough" formula for this based on how they tapper the 20 or 40 moa bases. Thanks Mule
