We picked up a 4-24 on black friday from EuroOptic for $1400. It's an excellent optic. I put it on our Sako 85 260 and haven't had any issues with it at all. I wasn't wild about the turret feel. I think leupold could do a better job there. They also didn't line up past 12 MOA until i zero'd the rifle, now it's fine. The turrets have grown on me i just would prefer more resistance from click to click and more audible and tactile clicks. This was a major complaint of the mark 5 for me as well. Glass is reminiscent of my MK5 i previously owned which is very good. Little CA if your cheekweld isn't perfect but other than that i really like the optic. For that price it's in a category by itself considering it's weight. I personally prefer it to our Zeiss V6 but these aren't readily on my rifles so i don't spend that much time behind them. If you can find it around $1500 i think it's a great buy. The only optic i have compared it to is my AMG which is considerably more expensive. It fairs well but it doesn't quite have the resolution the AMG has. As for other scopes Zeiss V6 are quality. I like their turret feel better than the leupold, not wild about the reticle options on either, or SFP in general if i'm being honest. I think there needs to be a larger market for Mil based FFP hunting scopes. MOA is kind of moot at this point for the rest of the industry outside the benchrest crowd and hunters stuck in their ways JMO (albeit unpopular)
