Mine shoots 1/2 MOA out to 800 yards so far. My dad bought one the same day I did. (Both savage 7mm lrh)
My dads, I boresighted it and it shot 8"low 8" right at 30 yards. Pretty sure there's something up with the barrel. Would have been nice to know before we trued the break threads and replaced the stupid on/off break that it comes with.
I will see if he wants to pick up a new barrel.

I would be sending that back to savage. Sounds like maybe you nicked the crown messing with the threads.
