SOLD/EXPIRED savage model 99

I have a savage model 99 that was left to me from my uncles estate. I would like to know more about it and it's value, i would like to sell it but would like to get a fair price. model 99 s/n 609XXX believe made in 1951.. marked with 23C under receiver..............Looks in great shape, a little light on the blueing in some spots.... barrel good, no cracks...........??
