Savage - 28" Proof Carbon 6.5x284 Barrel
Switching up my hunting setup to use a can so this barrel is going down the road. Exactly 76rds through it, properly broke in and then only hunted with it. This shot great getting 3100fps+ with factory HSM Match 142SMK ammo and always 0.75" or better. Muzzle brake not included.
Included is 154pcs of HSM Match 142gr SMK ammo in factory boxes and 70pcs of once fired Lapua brass in their HSM boxes. I initially bought 60rds to break in and work through the rifle to reload the once fired Lapua brass but it shot so well I bought 170rds more from a friend. The SMKs worked great taking a bull elk at 400yds and a big mule deer buck at 575yds.
