Nope. Specific terms/inspection period are negotiated. Money comes first. Then seller ships the rifle. Buyer inspects at his FFL Then accepts or contacts seller about pre-negotiated return term. If returned, the buyer return ships the product. after inspection, money is returned. I have done this several times. It is a lot of risk for both buyer and seller. That said, I don’t want to loose my rights to buy and sell expensive things with this great group of like minded shooters. I wouldn’t jeopardize that by cheating people here. Post count and sales count will tell you a lot about how “safe“ this is. I always ship insured. I always communicate a lot. I’m more than willing to share my phone number, FFL‘s info, etc. I try to be very transparent and deal with folks who are the same. I call those numbers and make sure we are on the same page. My best S&W revolver was obtained this way. It came with a couple nice phone calls about collect S&W revolvers. My only negative gun buy came over Gunbroker. Pics were bad, call was ok. I still bought it. Finish wear was a bit more than I thought and I had to shim the lockup. That said, that was 5ish years ago and I’m 100’s of dollars to the good in that deal which was actually a gunbroker deal with a dealer. I believe they should have posted correct finish % and explained the lock up. They considered those fine judgement details…
