Ruger MKII Pistol Target model optics

So I'm thinking of adding a red dot type optic and the ability to switch to a scope. So A pic rail seems to be the answer. Have any of you added a pic rail to the Ruger and if you have photos it would be appreciated.
Options to a pic rail are fine too.
