I have a left hand Remington 700 25/284 short action. It has a Mcmillan stock, muzzle brake, Oberdorf bottom metal, Redding dies, and 100 once fired Lapua brass. Shoots great with Hornady SST 117gr. I had a few winchester brass used for load development but have tossed them. So about 140rds fired never over heated. Three shot group is with cold bore shot. I do not know brand of barrel. Action and barrel work done by competent gunsmith.

what kinda speed do you get out of that?

I have and old chrony I check one and it was 2980fps with the 115grs. Then ran a drop chart to 500yd and it was on with a reticle hold.
