[QUOTE="MudRunner2005, post: 1360445, member: 12995"] I see Remington finally took my advice...Again. Still haven't gotten my free rifles yet... Hey Remington!!! I got an FFL dealer about 2 miles away...You can send them anytime. :D For the money, I'd buy one of those over an SPS any day of the week! 416R 5R barrel, Grayboe stock, 416R stainless barrel and action... Hard to beat that for $850! Basically, it's a sporter-weight hunting version of the 5R Milspec with a Grayboe stock instead of the heavier HS Precision stock. Only thing I don't like is that they only went with 24" barrels on the magnums. If they had gone 26", it would be better. They also kept the same stupid 9.25" twist for the 7mm... They should have stepped up the game to 8" or 8.5" twist since they were modernizing their rifling to the 5R. You should still be able to shoot the new Berger 175 Elite Hunters without a problem. I also think they should have threaded the muzzle 5/8x24 to make it suppressor ready, since suppressors are becoming more and more popular, but that's just my opinion.
