Today marks 3 years since we said goodbye to my grandpa, and in honour of him today I thought I'd share one of the funnier things he said, a favourite memory of mine (he was constantly irritating/amusing people with his offbeat sense of humour).

I'm always laughing to myself about the time an individual he was talking to got very defensive about his hunting rights on account of said individual's treaty status (I don't know what the laws are in the states but in Canada people with First Nations treaty status can hunt for sustainance without licensing and regardless of season). Their dialogue went as follows…

"You see this card!? It's my right, doesn't matter when season is, I can shoot a moose with this card!"

"No you can't"

(Getting angrier) "yes I can, I can shoot a moose with this card and you don't have the right to tell me I can't"

"But you can't, doesn't matter what I think about it you just cant"

(Very agitated) "yes I can, why are you saying I cant!?"

"Well it's simple. You can't shoot a moose with a piece of paper. You need a GUN to do that"

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Forever a legend. RIP grandpa! We'll see you later.
