Like green 877 says, I 4350 at around 59 grains should do nicely(start lower first). I really like I 4064 at 50-to 52 grains depending on the rifle also. I load for a guy who has an browning a-bolt '06. I load him a 150 sierra pro-hunter, 50 grains I 4064, and a wlr in rem brass. I keep the load back a grain or two since I'm not there when he shoots and I need reliability and accuracy more than the last few fps. We worked with the rifle because it hated factories, and it went to cloverleafs with the sierra. It is 2850 fps out of a 22" barrel at that charge, so another grain or two would get you over 2900 fps easily. Win 748, H414/760, rl15, I 4320, I (or H)4895, and a slew of other powders will get you to 2900 fps without much trouble. 3000 fps accurately may be more hassle than it's worth in many '06 rifles. I have played with 4 of them already and I can get a 165 to 2900 easier than I can get a 150 to 3000 with accuracy.
