Reflex sight side mount on bolt action?

Has anyone had experience with a reflex sight on a bolt action? I've seen a few on ARs and I was thinking of adding one with an offset mount to cater for any close in, fast shots.
Some pics too would be appreciated.

Look at SPUHR mounts,have a couple different mount options,top and side, they have ring with built in level also.

GDI mounts are threaded on the actual ring to accept a mounting plate for an rmr. Global Defense Initiatives is the site if you want to check them out.

Another alternative would be to add a mount under your scope at what ever position you want it to be. Something like this: Weaver - Tactical Scope Mount - Offset Rail Adaptor

Of course you will be needing to use a picatinny rail for your mount for these options to be able to work.
