I know, not much recoil already. I have a customer with a tapered heavy barrel in 22-250 factory 700. He is having trouble keeping target in scope during "recoil". He is thinking of buying a suppressor for it, he has other cans as well. He is not concerned with the noise as this is for shooting prairie dogs and wears ear protection when doing this. We thought a brake would mitigate recoil more than a can. Recommend me a brake that would work best for this application.
Muzzle diameter is .830", so plan on threading 5/8-24. One piece brake is fine as I can time it when threading muzzle.
Thoughts?

Hawkins Precision 3 port brake. They're affordable, look good, and are high quality and very affective.

I just installed a 3-port Titanium Lil Beast muzzle brake on my 22 Creedmoor, from Nathan at 'Muzzle Brakes and More'. My rifle movement is now similar to my .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. Which is to say, insignificant rifle movement.

They are also available in stainless steel at a lower cost.
