I'm looking at purchasing a 6BR barreled action and the guy had it as a 6AI first (which shot awesome, 3 shots touching) then cut it back to re-chamber into the 6BR. It's now finished at 24". Looks like from reading 26"-28" is optimum for this round. Would I lose anything, besides some velocity? I'm not shooting competition or anything. Just looking to plink at longer ranges. The twist on this barrel is 1:9". Which seems like a good twist for up to 95gr bullets. Thoughts?
