Are you talking to me? Haha that wasn’t a insult just because you didn’t like what I said. You want to see insults? Don’t be a girl. Quote me like a man.
Definition of efficient
1: productive of desired effects especially: capable of producing desired results with little or no waste (as of time or materials) According to the article you copy and pasted, the numbers are negligible. If a .45 acp and the LC is about or around the same ballistically, then there is room to say it’s is a more efficient cartridge. It’s smaller, it uses smokeless powder and can generally or more often be loaded at higher pressures. That said, yes, you can load the .45 LC as a super +P if you have a pistol that can handle it. Or if you like taking risk. As seen here:https://ammo.com/comparison/45-colt-vs-45-acp Loading a .45 LC this way is a specific topic. The OP wasn’t asking about loading a .45 LC like a .44 mag. He asked which one is a good round. Generally, they both equally suck. More like what’s seen here: If you look at another article, you’ll see they use different numbers and draw different results then the article you referenced: https://www.ammunitiontogo.com/lodge/45-long-colt-vs-45-acp/ Or https://americangunfacts.com/45-colt/ The reality is, it’s shouldn’t being a topic worth arguing about. There’s nothing special about the numbers either of these cartridges put out generally, and again, being concern over a minuscule difference in KE either way is retarded. If the OP is loading a super duper load of .45 LC then why is he even asking the question? He already knows what he’s doing.
