[QUOTE="Nimrodmar10, post: 895545, member: 36369"] I have a Remington 700 XCR Long Range Tactical in 300 WM with a 26" barrel. I'm also shooting the Berger 190 grain VLD loaded with 73 grains of RL-22. I'm getting 2986 fps without pressure signs. Thats at 60°. Those results are over two different chronographs, 10 feet from the muzzle. It's a very accurate load in my rifle. I took a real nice antelope with it at 542 yards in Wyoming the first of October. Bullet performed just as advertised. Your results don't seem out of line when compared with mine. If you're concerned with summer temps, carry a round in an inner pocket to keep it warm, 98.6°, then fire it. I do the opposite with an ice chest when testing hunting loads during the summer.
