SOLD/EXPIRED Proof Research Elevation MTR 6.5 PRC

Selling my relatively new rifle. Bought this new, and hunted with it 5 days this year in Idaho. Took my mule deer at 560 yards first shot. 180 rounds down the tube. Very accurate rifle shooting 1/2 moa hand loads. Only reason I'm selling is to get a more elk appropriate rifle.

24" 7.5 twist proof barrel
Trigger tech trigger
Zermatt arms origin short action
Trigger tech trigger
AICS 3 round mag
Retails for $3499, I'd like to sell for $3000 bare gun.
I can include 3 boxes factory ELD-X ammo as well as assorted hand loads, bullets, and fired brass.

When you compare a 6.5 PRC to a .300 WM...@ 500 yards the PRC bests the .300 WM by about 100 ft. lbs. of energy delivered - and with less drop and wind drift. That is comparing a 147 gr. PRC to a 150 gr. .300 WM.....and - yes...I shoot both. and killed a nice 6x5 bull w/the 6.5 PRC Oct. 3.

Good luck with sale. Great rifle and great caliber. Those Proof rifles are nice.

My son killed a 340" bull in NM with mine shooting the factory Nosler 142 LRAB. I've since loaded it with Hammer 124's. I killed my Mtn goat in Sept with that load. Hard to beat as an "all arounder".
