New to the area, and was looking for some help with long range shooting areas. Can anybody please point me in the right direction?

There is a range in whitefish by the dump, and there is a spot up the north fork that you can shoot 1000yards, or so I have heard you can. I know I most recently have taken my rifle up the north fork to sight mine in at 100yards for hunting, and there is a spot just before where I got, that looks like its setup for long shots.
Whitefish rifle and pistol has a outdoor 300 yrd. used to be 1000.They also have indoor small bore and pellet.North Valley Sportsman Club. Columbia Falls, outdoor to 400, bison at 465?. Can crack rocks on mtn. behind,cliffy 600-1400 quite easy.Typical hunting shot for this area, I have seen elk and bear on mtn,while shooting.You will meet local shooters there and guys from local gun companies testing and range proofing.
