I have a Pendleton composite stock with a vertical grip that I'm looking to trade for a model 700 stainless short action 308 bolt face stocks or installed on your gun so I'm figure in the stocks probably around 500 to buy

Sure its a mcmillan a have a similar one on my light varmint was told it is bell and carlson

This one is a Mcmillan when the Custom Shop used all McMillans. This is similar to the Light Varmint B&C you are referring,(fluted barrel) but better made. I worked at Remington at the time and best buddy worked in the Custom Shop and got this for me bedded to a 6BR. I think most are B&C's now. It's a quality stock for sure.
