Praise the lord and pass the 6.5 creedmoor! I have to say I lean towards Mudrunner on this subject. All the years of shooting , loading and the money spent to improve equipment . Cleaning and breaking in barrels , triggers and glass ! All this time , money and effort and all I had to do is buy a 6.5 creedmoor in any rifle make using factory ammo and any old scope that I find and I will shoot one hole groups! Yes the 6.5 CM is well designed and a joy to shoot . The 6.5 bullet is both aerodynamic and great for pennatration on game. It’s a fine cartridge but to hear that it’s going to get amazing accuracy out of every out of the box rifle from every manufacturer is this round in to mythical status . Precision chambers, high quality barrels and pillar bedding , expensive triggers and high performance glass is a distant memory now. We have the creedmoor I don’t want to sound like I’m calling anyone out , I am not but the author of this thread you are lucky and should play the lottery because you are way a head of the odds. I am also not a hater because I like the round as well. I’m just a supporter of anything , there are greater and lesser rifles brass scopes mounts and shooters to say that I need to toss all my stuff away and buy a couple 6.5 CR’s ! BTW I bought for my son in-law a Remington 700 ADL 270 win from Walmart 12 or so years ago that I put a 3x 12 scope on of modest quality and some Remington 130 gr Core-Lokts . It shoots ragged one hole groups whit the factory set trigger. He won’t change a thing! The 270 win is the mystical round!
