This is crucial, you must always aim at the same point to figure your drops. Shoot a 3 or 5 shot group at 200yds while aiming at the same point you aimed at for 100yds. After shooting go to the target and find your group. Take a black marker and draw a thick line across the center of your group bold enough so that you can see it from a distance. Go back to your rifle and take the same hold on the dot again. You will be able to see where the line intersects in your verticle post near or on the circles. I would recommend you draw a model of the reticle on a sheet of paper and then draw where the line intersects the cross hair on your model and note this as the 200yd zero.
Man I wish I had this all in a email or something so I could just paste it but here we go anyway. Me and Bill Bailey went to a seminar over these scopes and this is how they laid it out to us, and they went on and on about this bad *** shooter named Ian McMurchy, personnally i have never heard of him but i guess they are quite fond of him, go figure!!! By the way Ian it was pretty cool getting to hear these guys bragging about you and knowing that we get to shoot the breeze with ya on here Alright, take a large sheet of butchers paper or whatever you want and put a dot in the middle to top of the paper. Zero your rifle at 100yds (we really need Ian to confirm the original zero here because i aint sure) After zeroing the rifle on this dot either move the target or yourself to 200yds and take aim at the same dot again. Before you trust everything that I have said lets get Ian to chime and correct the mistakes i probably made. take it easy steve
