Gary and I traded emails and pictures of the zero stop system Zeiss uses and it works perfectly going down to zero but it also limits how high you can adjust. Gary said when the zero stop is sitting at zero it has a small pin that stops against a vertical bar. The vertical bar is adjustable for setting your zero. When you rotate the turret, the pin makes almost one revolution (a full revolution is 18 MOA) and then hits the bar on the opposite side giving a 16.5 movement.</p><p> </p><p> Here is a couple pictures Gary shared that shows the pin assembly that rotates and the open turret with the vertical bar in place.
