Hey! Been some time since I was on the site. I worked up some 175 LRX with H4831sc right before hunting season. Didn't have time to fine tune but did get an acceptable hunting load. ***82.2grains of H4831sc, Fed215, Rem brass, RCBS FL die, Lee factory crimp die set for a mild crimp, OAL 3.565( fits in mag with room to spare), WBY vanguard 24" barrel, 3030 fps average, 3/4"-1 1/4" @ 100yds @ 6500ft elevation Hope it helps. The wind blows here all the time so the actual potential for this load has been hard to calculate at long range. That being said, the gun has been shooting good groups in light steady 5 to 10mph winds. Vary rare that the wind doesn't gust here in Wyoming. Vanguard has a Hogue full aluminum bed stock, free floated barrel, partial bedding on recoil lug, Timney trigger. Not really a Vanguard anymore. Set up at this speed so it would work with the Rapid Z-800 scope. Perfect for my elevation and hits steel out to 700yds well. Rapid z reticle 5 and 10mph marks work great at this speed with scope set to 14X. Just in case someone was curious.
