RP Brass, sorted, in various baggies:
#38 220.3 to 220.8 gr unfired
#35 220.9 to 222.3 gr unfired
#9 labeled "odd weights" -- -I assume these are the extreme outliers.
#27 1x fired, then prepped 218.4 to 290.4 gr
#21 labeled "2x fired" (assume these are in a 219.5 to 220.2 range)
#30 labeled "2x fired (at least)" Probably also part of a large middle group of brass
#37 labeled "2 or 3x fired"
Total: 197, all same original lot.
Remington brass from MidwayUSA was $0.89 a pop, but they are no longer available. Norma, Nosler and ADG seem to be in the $2-3 each range, and also unavailable.....
I am not hard on my brass. Many of those shots were working up rounds on a barrel that refused to shoot as well as I thought it should. I later bought Norma brass, but it made little or no difference. I could throw in a Shilen Match grade barrel for a large diameter Savage receiver cheap...... I'm kidding of course.....
